I thought this book was exceptional. I discovered it in a charity shop and liked the title and blurb and cover so I bought it and was glad I did. I can't get it out of my mind, and I finished reading it.. mid-summer this year. The language used was unlike anything I've read before, in a good way, and it had some absolutely beautiful prose juxtaposed with the dubious characters. It's been categorised as thriller/mystery/suspence, which put me off but it really kept me turning pages. I found myself really caring about the characters and I loved the sexual side of Lewis' writing, which is where the title springs from. Can't recommend this enough.
