We've just got back from our two-week trip to Mexico. Initially we were planning to spend two-three days in Mexico City but due to this book spent 5.5 days and are looking forward to going back in the future!
This book helped us to see beyond the more obvious areas such as Zocalo, Zona Rosa, etc. We had delightful morning walking through Condesa neighbourhood, enjoyed Coyocatan and its museums, and, of course, tasted many of the wonderful specialities in the places/stalls recommended by author. We actually kept gettig back to some of these little eateries!
If you like exploring cities, doing off the beaten track things and are curious about how locals live, do get this book before coming to Mexico.
