Kallen, conscript soldier in the climate-devastated America of the distant future, has been part of an expedition through a time portal back to the eighteenth century. He has fallen in love with Aaric and, when the time comes to go back to his own century, Kallen stays behind. Pursued by his own army, and at risk in an America where the love between the two guys is a sin, Kallen and Aaric flee across the American countryside. Their slow progress by horse and wagon is further interrupted by Kallen's insatiable desire to get inside Aaric's buckskins, which he does with satisfying frequency. Aaric's remaining inhibitions of guilt are quickly overwhelmed by his desire as he and Kallen discover the Joy of Gay Sex in revolutionary times. If gay sex is a sin punishable by hell fire then these two guys sure have fun on the way. The descriptions of an American rural idyll, later destroyed by human devastation, is brilliantly done. This is a sexy, heart-warming romance and a great adventure.
