Too much good luck.

As a fan of Anne's work for a number of years I like to think I know her work pretty well. However to be honest, whilst this book is worth a read, I'm starting to wonder how much longer the luck of the twins is going to last before one of them bites the proverbial bullet. There luck is starting to become the longest streak going and I really want them to pick my lottery numbers.
With luck the next instalment will see an end to the series as otherwise I get the feeling its all going to get too ridiculous and that the authors are milking it for as much cash as they can get. A good read but I'd recommend reading the whole series.

... and on, and on, and on!

I have to confess that, although I've been a fan of Anne McCaffrey for more years than I care to think of and, despite the long-awaited delivery of this book, I was a tiny bit fed up once I'd read it.
Don't get me wrong! The continuing story of the twins is very good, hence the 4 stars, and it's great to see how they get out of yet another scrape - but that's the point - it's yet another scrape!
I really felt that the story has been stretched just a tad too long now and, although I've loved reading the books, it's about time for a conclusion, instead of yet another plot twist that leads to yet another book. I honestly can't see how much more can be done to the twins before I end up yawning, with an 'oh dear, yet another scrape they'll just manage to get out of' attitude.
Please, Anne, let the kids go home, and the badies be finally stopped!
