I found this book very useful when I was doing my TEFL course, and have used it a lot since becoming a teacher in order to refresh myself. There are eight chapters, which guide you on how to:
1. be a successful exams teacher
2. plan a course and choose materials
3. teach for reading exams
4. teach for writing exams
5. teach grammar and vocabulary for exams
6. teach for listening exams
7. teach for speaking exams
8. teach for low level exams
It helped me learn what actual teaching would involve on my part, and I read it alongside taking my TEFL course. Very helpful guide book. I hope you can make use of it.
