making exams less stressful

This guide is perfect for both the struggling student or those who wish to boost their grades through some more in-depth knowledge. Containing commentary and close analysis of each scene as well as a section on themes and characters in the play, use of this guide will help you gain a thorough understanding of the text. For students studying Faustus for paper Elit6 or another synoptic paper there is also a section on critical opinions and literary theory. These are really helpful when trying to support arguments or ideas in essays. One word of warning though, this guide follows the A-text version of Faustus. If you have the B-text version (printed by Longman) then there the dialogue and occurances in the comic scenes are slightly different. Therefore don't rely wholy on the notes to tell you what's going on!

If there's anything that can make Dr Faustas understandable.

I am currently studying Dr. Faustas by Christoper Marlowe for my English Literature A Level and although I find most of the syllabus to my liking, I just could not get on with this text, plus I have an exam in about 3 months on it! Anyway, i'd read the brilliant Yorke notes on Romeo And Juliet in previous Key Stage lessons and found them to be of high quality. I went straight out and bought Dr Faustas Yorke Notes and did it help me... ohhh yeah. I can now completly understand the text as it gives step by step page and section summaries in easy to understand post modern english. Nice one, I hope they keep up the good work.
