Very formulaic

I have recently used this book in the classroom and, while at first I found it very straightforward, well laid out and easy to follow, it soon became very boring for teacher and students alike as every lesson followed the exact same formula. I think that if you relied soley on the lessons in this book the students could write their own lesson plans. Yawn. Ditto with the supplementary activities...one or two were very good but many could not be used because they were just a boring rehash of the previous one.
