A former victim of this author's wit writes......

I worked with Richard back at Reed where he produced an "in house" freelance funzine to sell for charity (that's how he described it). Even back in 1990 he did these anagrams of colleagues names. One of the anagrams was "I luv a prik" but it was the only one listed that didn't name the individual concerned. We all knew it was our divisional MD's name and it was noticed higher up the slippery pole of management! Anyway, I got the occasional slagging in this publication, but alas I am not worthy or famous enough to make it to the hardback book!

Accidental snotting

I bought this book for a friend and he won't stop quoting from it. Sometimes it catches you unaware and you snot accidentally in public. Very funny indeed, and great to see such a high class, important publisher dealing taking it on.

"My Gonads Roar" - Absolutely Brilliant
|
|
I read about " My Gonads Roar" in the Times and then I was fortunate enough to hear an interview with the Author on BBC Radio and knew I had to get this book.It is the funniest I have read in years. It is far more than a book on jumbled up letters, the genius of this man is how he makes the anagrams so relevant to the individual and then writes a very amusing passage or anecdote about them. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great present for someone of any age,it is a great gift. Buy it, and cherish it and I hope that this is not the last we here from this talented new comedy writer.

Worth every penny!

Brilliant!! Wasn't sure it would be for me, not being great with words and all that, but this had me in stitches from the start. A very easy page turner, very topical and diverse subject matter, so something for everyone. I will be buying many copies as Christmas presents, can't go wrong, very clever and entertaining.

Great stuff from Drain-cap hirer!

Wickedly witty and hilariously irreverent, this book boldly goes where no anagram book has gone before. Had me laughing out loud on the train. A must for Christmas!
