Superb and Evocative Dramatisation     
These dramatisations of Chandler's famous stories are quite simply excellent. Ed Bishop is tremendous as Marlowe, and his voice is perfect for radio. The scripts themselves are authentic and gritty, and will be a surprise to those who have only seen the sanitised movie version of "The Big Sleep". These plays are a real treat for anyone who enjoys film noir style stories. They are marvellously evocative and it's a joy to listen to them.
