DEAD RINGERS - A DEAD CERT FOR LAUGHS
I first became aware of Dead Ringers by seeing it on the television. My family were aware of my interest and bought these CDs for me as a present. Although I have not heard any of the radio series I thoroughly enjoyed listening to these CDs. I particularly liked the Doctor and Patrick Moore but enjoyed the whole set. I look forward to getting more in the series. I would recommend it, a very amusing set of sketches.

Very Much Alive With Comedy
It is quite possible that the Dead Ringers is the funniest thing to ever come out of radio. Before its triumphant introduction to the wonderful television, the Dead Ringers was an impressionist radio show, and the complete set is here contained, much to the delight of us all. It really is quite incredible how well the sketches work, you really would believe it was the real person. Although this sounds incredibly clichéd, when I first heard this fantastic piece of comedy, I honestly thought it was the real person taking the mick out of themselves. All this remains on this audio book. It has fantastic quality sound, giving the full listening comedy experience. Anyone who had heard this program before would know that the Dead Ringers is a very, very satirical program. So, judging by this, one might believe that by now, no matter when you listen to it, it would be dated. Well, I can assure you that it doesn't feel in the least bit dated. Yes, it dealt with topical subjects, but if you remember these things, you can look back and chuckle at past news. Even if you listen to this millions of years into the future, this program simply makes you chuckle at the way of the world. It just does not date- amazing! This set contains all you could wish for. Hours of pure laughter, and real genius. It is a set that you could not live without- not only funny, but also very very clever. This set is a must have for anyone, any time. People who have never heard of the Dead Ringers will be introduced to a new side of comedy, and fans of the show will be in heaven. A pure must buy, giving a satirical view of what life really is like.

The highlight is Rolf's bad news ... or perhaps Radio 4 in the nude; Essential.
