exceptional radio production.

this is BBC radio drama at its best.
difficult to find nowadays and not available on C.D, one of the best productions upon the famous novel "dracula" in my opinion. a great cast really brings the whole proceedings to life, along with the sound effects and music that create a weird and quite chilling atmosphere.
for a total running time of over 3 hours, there is so much put into this.

This is what the films should be like!

This is an absolute gem. Brilliantly capturing the atmosphere of stoker's novel and staying VERY close indeed to the text, this is the adaptation we'll probably never see on the big screen. The only drawback would be that the story slows down a bit between Dracula's departure for England and his first attacks on Lucy, but that's a flaw that comes directly from Stoker's book, which only enhances its faithfulness to the text. This is one of the highlights of my collection and I fully recommend it to any Dracula fan out there. Listen to it on a cold, dark preferably stormy night..
