Nothing new

I was given this as a present and although I am a huge Seinfeld fan, this book was hugely uninspiring. It is basically a monologue of the opening credits of Seinfeld. If you're bored give it a read otherwise I would just watch the show! Its still a good read, but there is simply no new material...

Not the greatest

This is basically a written form of his opening monologues and I have to admit that I was disappointed with how they came across in written word. I am a huge Seinfeld fan but this quite simply did not translate too well. Some of the gems do shine through, but overall it is pretty weak. If you're a huge Seinfeld fan then maybe it's worth it, but it didn't work for me.

...Jerry Jabbering Joyously

Didn't think much to the main character, the plot development was tiring and the ending was plain dull....but enuff about 'War & Peace'...lets talk Jerry - I picked a paperback copy of this while I was in Copehagen recently, damn funny stuff, A lot of material from his stand up and the TV show, but great all the same....he takes the art of nothing and turns it into hilarity....rock on Jerry! And he does it with out swearing, doesn't have to resort to trite means to score the punches, he scores the punches BAM BAM FUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE! Just needs more, man. Reads like he wrote it in an afternoon, and that's how long it takes to get from cover to cover - buy it - go laff your ass off!

It's like having the TV show in the palm of your hands!

I loved this book! I've never laughed so hard from reading a book. Seinfeld truly is the SUPERMAN of comedy! Buying this book may be one of the best things you'll ever do in your life. WARNING!! Not intended for people who don't like to laugh.

A Book about Nothing but says a lot

Jerry has done a good job with this book. The book is funny and witty. I now completely believe that Jerry is not only a good comedian but also an extremely intelligent and sensitive person. He has beautifuly penned some minute observations about life. I would say the book does lack some coherency of a professional writer, but still is definitely worth the time and money.
