Food, passion and confusion?
This is the tale of restaurant critic Connie who finds herself in Venice on a second honeymoon, but without her husband. She meets the delectable Marco and embarks on a romantic journey involving her two favourite things; passion and food. But back in New York Connie realises that all is not what it seems... A really entertaining and cleverly written book. I instantly liked the main character as she was self-deprecating and funny, and loved the twist in the story. Very easy to read and this hardback edition comes in a fab handbag size. Highly recommended.

Eating with the angels

A very original piece of work. The beginning is a bit tedious (unless you really, really enjoy descriptions of various foods), but stick with it. At chapter 6, the real story begins, and it had me hooked. In fact, I couldn't put it down until I'd finished it (at 3.12am). I don't want to say too much about the book and spoil it for anyone, so I'll just say read it. You won't be disappointed.
