The cream of the crop!

If you've read my other reviews on the Welkin Weasel series, you'll see that I find them a disgusting read, but hey! Surprise surprise! This is one of the best books I have ever read! What better than to put a weasel in the shoes of Sherlock Holmes? It's extremely witty (unlike the other books), wonderfully written with parodies to many other scripts (the manless horse head is my favourite), and even Maudlin, the descendant of that annoying Mawk, isn't so annaying, and is sometimes actually quite funny. My only crticism is that the plot should have focussed a little more to the detective side of things, but it's an amzing book anyway. FAR better than the atrocious' Thunder Oak' and the almost unreadable 'Windjammer Run'

Another gem in the Welkin Weasels series

A completely new trilogy of books starts here with Gaslight Geezers so it is a good place for any newcomers to jump aboard. Everybody who enjoyed the previous Welkin Weasel books by Garry will find plenty more here to revel in. Plenty of mustelid shenanigans, visual wonders and upside-down literary references will keep 'children of all ages' entertained. Highly recommended.
