Laugh out Loud

I'd never read what I'd class as a "chick lit" book before but fancied something a little light hearted to read on the beach. The Undomestic Goddess made me literally laugh out loud and I read it in the space of one day....it's a real page turner. It's a very easy and highly entertaining read and by the end I wanted to quit my own job and run away to a simpler life. I've recommended it to a few girls and they've all loved it!

I read this book in a day, I just couldn't put it down. I smiled, I laughed out loud, I cried! I've read Sophie Kinsella before but this is definately one of the best. I loved every page.

Thank goodness I saw this before heading to the airport, I would have gone crazy with boredom without it. This is the second Sophie Kinsella book I have read and found it hard to put down (I was banned from reading it at one point as my husband didn't want to have to cope with me bookless and bored later on!). It was a nice, entertaining, witty and easy read. The characters were well thought out and I was pleased with the outcome of the book. I have added the other Sophie Kinsella books to my shopping list!

Better then I expected and quite good fun but still not great

I was given this book with a few other chick lit type books and had fairly low expectations of it when I read it. However, I liked the story and thought that it could be believeable.
To my surprise i found myself liking Samantha, although I wasn't convinced that she was a top lawyer
There were a few details which were badly dealt with which kept annoying me throughout the story - run off to the country fine - leave your flat fine - but it didn't feel right that she didn't go and get anything from the flat at all - not just no clothes but nothing.
I felt that the ending was completely predictable but i guess it had to be - Easy way to pass the time of day.
