A stunning continuation of the biography of Joyce's two dogs Janus and Puma, that was started in "Two's a company". I have never learned as much about dogs, living with them and training them as I have reading Joyce's books. Her style of writing is easy to read, factual and to the point, yet you just can't put the book down untill you find out what happenes next. Her training methods are full of compassion and understanding for the dogs, which is why Joyce is today one of the most popular people in the Dog world in UK(show judge, Dog Magazines column writer etc). The fact that all the stories in the book happened in the real life makes her dog books even more unique. After coming accross "Two's a company" in a local library, I tried finding the continuation of the story by trying to buy her other books. It really made no sense whatsoever that this and other books in the series are not actually in print any longer! I turned Heaven and Earth and finally managed to find all the books, most second hand. They were worth every penny and I keep reading them over and over again. I strongly reccomend you read at least one of her books, from her dog-biography era.
