This is an excellent introductory to organic spectroscopy.

It is an excellent supplement to a spectroscopy graduate course main textbook. It is well written, concise and very readable. I found it very helpful in addition to Silverstein's book. This text discusses the fundamentals of 1H NMR, carbon-13 NMR, infrared spectroscopy, UV spectroscopy. In addition, each chapter provides a variety of examples and discussions which enabled me to practice interpreting spectra really well. At the end of each chapter, drill problems are also included with the answers provided at the end of the book. The book also includes a section on 2D NMR. Finally, the last chapter gives combined problems that served as a practice exam for me. This book is highly recommended to undergraduate and graduate students !
