Any students of Quarternary studies, glaciation, climate change or just a general intrest in all three off the above should buy this book. Its truly excellent. The diagrams in particular are very clear to understand. It is written with undergraduate understanding in mind - though should be read by everyone. It also has a large reference list at the back for further reading for essays etc. My only hold ups are the structure (how the chapters have been ordered) is maybe not the best, and i feel a few of the diagrams would benifit from some colour (however that would add to cost). These are only minor issues. Overall an excellent book for the basis of your understanding.
