Most of the book is 'throw-away' material and even though the book is cheap compared to other trading books it is definately not recommended. I'm sure Williams is a good trader but his books are not.

If you have read any of this authors previous works then you do not need this patchedwork tome.

Larry takes you through a methodolgy that combines technical triggers but also exploits fundamentally indicated opportunities like the correlation between the Bond market and equities and even the gold markets relationship with equities.

By combining all these filters in an organised method with sound money management principles leads to those high probability opportunities being selective defined and picked out from the rest of the market noise.

However this means the book is designed for a serious private trader who looks to expend a fair amount of time to defining his trade ideas and will probably utilize a sophisticated software package for back testing of his system. A tendency to tinker and own/have access to a tradestation (Omega research Software for backtesting) is the only way an entertaining read will materialise into anything else but just that.

All round a much better read than the 'Electronic Day Trading 101' title also available on this site...
