Dubious at first because of the American nature of the title judged purely on the cover, in the sense of immediate success in .. days etc. But my cynicism was proven to be misplaced, anyone wanting to learn to multiply, divide etc numbers accurately and quickly without a calculator buy this book now, it is so quick to learn from this book, brilliant stuff! First rate.

Can you do without this?

I have 4 books by this guy. He's a genius. If they taught you stuff like this in school.Instead of the logs and algebra crap that you'll never use.I would have enjoyed maths in school. And probably got 'A's in it.However schools there for them to tell you 'what' to think as opposed to 'how'. Buy this or have your 5 yr old blush with the incompetance of your maths. If i can devide 1709 by 4 in 8 secs.So can you!

Cool book.

This is stuff I wish I'd learned or been taught when I was at school. It ranges from the very simple to mildly taxing, but on a nice curve that most of us could handle (I'm rubbish at maths so that's really something). It didn't come to me in just 30 days, more like sixty, but then I could only do about one "trick" every couple of days since I have other stuff to learn at the same time. Well worth the money, but you have to spend some time with the material.

Damn,Doh,Blast,Oops,Are NOT words I use when doing maths now

They used to be but not anymore, After the first book I thought "well what else can Julius teach me about maths"?, A hell of a lot! and all the rest is crammed into this book, Techniques that will astound you at their ease of performance. If you bought the first book and were amazed then this one will do the same all over again. I now enjoy maths and see it as a challenge or puzzle to be solved, NOT a chore!
