This is a fun and well written book, ideal for a holiday read. Dealing with the adventures of the flying flappers it covers all aspects of their lives and their escapades both on and above ground. Well informed and equally entertaining this is a good women's read as it's not just for those interested in planes and the historical aspect of the women aviators. If nothing else buy it for the chapter on Pancho, such a great character and well worth reading about!

This book is a sexy, sassy read about adventurous women in the rip roaring twenties turning the world upside down in their planes. It's a great holiday read and very essy to dip in and out of (each chapter being one person), this is a book for women about women so don't be put off by the factual element and some of the blurb. It's not really about planes but the women who flew them, their adventures and the lives they led. If you're a fan of the film The Great Waldo Pepper then definatley give this a go!
