A wealth of information

I was diagnosed with PCOS just a couple of months ago and didn't know much about it. My Doctor gave me a leaflet but there wasn't a lot to go on. I did some research on the internet and found out about insulin resistance amongst other things all related to PCOS. It has explained a lot. Once finally deciding to find out more and do something about PCOS I checked through other Amazon reader reviews and opted for this book. I have really enjoyed reading it. It is broken down into contained chapters that you can just dip in and out of - depending on what you want to read about first. As i know so little about the subject I was very conventional and started at the front and am working my way through the entire book. I would say it is a great all rounder - with great advice and also explanation on diet, symptoms etc. Overall I found it extremely positive and reinforces that anyone suffering from PCOS can take control and help themselves. If my friend was diagnosed with PCOS I would definitely buy her this book!

I tend to buy a lot of books that become available on the subject of PCOS, and I found this one really good. I like the format of the dummy books, it is easy to read, very easy to find the type of information you are looking for, and unlike most books has a certain amount of humour. A good and refreshing reference book, with lots of practical information.
