Hawking's work in pictures
|
|
This is (as the synopsis says) Hawking's Brief History of Time in such a way that a chicken can understand it; the chicken is one character, the cat is the other. The cat tries desperately to not become Schrödinger's Cat; the irony is, Charlesworth's co-author, John Gribbin, authored In Search of Schrödinger's Cat. Shame the book is now out of print; it is essentially a graphic novel version of Hawking's masterpiece. Its only downfall is that it doesn't cover everything, but that needs to be accepted to an extent. In all, a bit too light on the ground, but well worth it. Who says cosmology and quantum physics can't be humorous?
