Customer Reviews:
Well written & expressed
I read this book when I was 15 years old and its one of the few books that really stuck in my mind because of its immense power, and it touches a topic many others don't like discussing it in detail. Very brave of the author and this made me think. After this every time I heard a child had gone missing on the news I never looked at the matter the same way again. This book deals with Judy's sisters emotions, guilt, anger as she starts to grow so do her emotions. Being inside her head you see that there is no justifying what happened and that is the most saddest thing, you can't prepare yourself for something like this. The ending not exactly 'happy' but was completely unexpected. Worth a read.
Pretty good book
Missing Judy was a pretty good book. The story starts well, and thecharacters seem interesting and you really care about whether the maincharacter Kim will get closure over her sister's disappearance. I likedhow the there is always hope that Judy will turn out alright, and most ofthe time the book is quite believable.
Unfortunately towards the end it gets a bit far-fetched and the ending, although surprising isn't very scary or shocking.
I would recommend you to read this if you are aged 11 - 14 and likemysteries.
very unpredictable!!
This book was hard to get into at first but when you thought they had new evidence as to where judy was it got better. The way the ending of the book turned out was not at all how i expected. It is a very good read and as you go on the story just gets better and better.
The Best Ever Book
Missing Judy is about a girl who lost her sister, Judy, because Judy ran away from her. 8 years later they are still hoping that she is still alive somewhere and that Judy will come back to them. Judy's sister worries because when Judy went missing Judy's sister made something up to the police to try and please them. Then Judy gets in contact with someone in Australia and she thinks that she has finally found Judy. This is a book that I would recommend to any teenager. This book shows the emotions people go through when they have lost someone they love. What happens in the end is extremely suprising. A fantastic book.
A Good Read
'Missing Judy' is about Kim Hockney's struggle to get over the tragedy eight years ago when her little sister Judy ran away from her and never came back.

It's a great storyline and made me think about how terrible it'd be if we lost somebody and didn't know where they were. I think this is terrible cause you don't know whether their alive or not. Anyway, i liked this book a LOT and it's well worth a read.

I got it from an English friend who said it was 'wicked', and it is. The only thing i don't think is excellent is that it seemed to rush a bit at the end. I don't want to give too much away, but it reveals something and then, bam! A few months have gone by and then that's it. But it's well worth a read, as i've said before.
