who is it for?/para quien es?
|
Did't hate it but the text is barely one or two phrases per page, if it is for more advanced kids, they should have written a bit more, if it is for kids that are just starting to read they should have put a letter size apt for them. I'm reading it to my baby though, I'm Spanish and my husband is English and we want to raise him bilingual. Sadly there is not much in the market.

Dull versions of these old tales

I purchased "The Ugly Duckling", "Little Red Riding Hood" and "The Three Little Pigs" in this series, so that my toddler granddaughter, who is being brought up bilingual, would have some Spanish books to be read to her as well as English ones. These are very dull tellings of these old stories, and the illustrations aren't very good either. They were cheap, but that is all that can be said for them. If you can find a big bookshop that stocks some children's books in Spanish, you can see whether they are interestingly written. Alternatively order Spanish translations of English books that you already know.
