Good book but CDs are not included
While the book is as described it is worth noting that the CDs and workbooks are not included. Having read the contents list on the site and the previous reviewer's comments it would be easy to assume, as I did, that they are included. They are available separately from Heinemann but the CD set is £80. While this book may be ideal if you are at school it is a lot less useful if you are an adult studying at home unless you happen to want to spend the extra to buy the CDs. The listening element, rightly, is a big part of the book.
The book itself is well written with interesting exercises and is visually appealing.

Review of Metro 4 for AQA by Heinemann
This book provides full coverage of the AQA specification, with exercises that are designed to develop skills in the four key areas of: Reading,Writing, Speaking and Listening. It is divided into a series of 10 modules and includes a ''Deju vu'' section at the beginning of each section, to revise work covered at Key Stage 3. It is presented in a visually interesting and eye-catching style to increase studwnts' motivation and inclues an extensive voabularly list and provides full support for understanding the required grammer. Support for coursework and additional ctivities to reinforce understanding are at the back of the book. It is the best book I ever bought, and perhaps one of the most resourced courses for AQA, with supporting Workbooks, a Teacher's Guide and Cassesettes/CDs for listening excerises. Overall, I eould recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting a C or above at GCSE Level. There is also a Foundation edition available [Metro 4 for AQA Vert], which supports students aiming for grdes C-G.
