As a teacher,I worry sometimes that my students waste their valuable revision time using a guide like "Bitesize" that covers every possible GCSE syllabus. This means they either learn a lot of things that cannot posibly be of use for their examination or they spend a lot of time deleting from their guide the topics that are not relevant to them (if they know them!). This guide solves that problem for students of AQA B2. Not only is it one of the cheapest available, if students are studying AQA B2, (Key beliefs) they cannot revise things that are not relevant to them (provided they know what religion they are focussing on in section A) because they simply are not there. Although not in colour, this guide is attractively set out with useful hints and tips about examination performance etc. The sample answers at the end of each chapter together with a mark and comments leave no doubt about what has to be done to achieve a good grade in the exam this guide targets. The authors (who are advertised as senior examiners as well as teachers) also appear to have written the core text that bears the same title and cover picture so if students are used to using this excellent core text, their revision guide will be familiar in appearance and style. If you are a student, I advise you to buy this guide, if you are a teacher, try buying a class set and using it with lower achieving students in lessons rather than the core text or any other text. They may cope better with it. Mine have!
