As the parent of a young dyslexic son, I've found this to be an incredible resource. It has helped me understand dyslexia and has offered wonderful advice that works. Best book I've read on the subject--in both the UK and US. Should be made available internationally.

Excellent practical advice on all aspects of dyslexia

The sub title of this book is "A reference and resource manual" and it has proved invaluable in providing teaching strategies, information about negotiating the "system" and advice for older students moving into further and higher education, as well as younger pupils. A useful summary at the end of each chapter, and important examples to support theory that dyslexia, although it presents problems in our literacy-based society, is an indication of exceptional ability in other areas.
