Up to date and easy to read. Good value and a must for students needing a book for high dependancy nursing. Explanations are clear and each chapter has time out sessions so you can evaluate and reflect on what you have just read and learned. This book discusses topics such as nutrition, stress and pain management. There are chapters on shock, neurological systems, coronary syndromes, renal failure, diabetes and more. It teaches you about blood gases, suctioning, fluid and electrolytes etc. Its a good size book, easy to carry with you to uni or work. Well worth the money.
