An almost indispensable collection of photography to either start off, or massively bolster, any scenic artist or designers point of reference for literaly hundereds of surfaces.Tiles, timbers, concretes and plasters, metals, glass and marble are all copiously recorded in various states of erosion.An exellent book for those in the trade who care about their rusty iron shutters and shattered,tinted glass brick but can't quite remember how it goes.Eagerly awaiting "Surfaces 2".
