i'm a fan of linda needham and was a bit disappointed in this novel. it took me two attempts to get into the story line. i found charles and hollie an interesting enough couple as people, but they didn't seem to have a lot of chemistry as a romantic duo. and i find charles' illiteracy a bit difficult to believe, although needham does a good job of trying to explain away the unbelieveabiltiy. just not good enough, i my mind. if you're a needham fan and willing to gamble, read it.
