I like this book its about camping in the olden days.

This book was written by Elizabeth Honey. A group of school kids go on a camp to Pioneer village. The main characters are Jonah and Mr Cromwell the kids call him the Bomb.Jonah lived on a farm before he came to the city.He doesn,t fit in well at school and is shy.Everything seems to be working out fine for Jonah until the Bombs arrives on camp.

this book was funny , sad and interesting.

Don't pat the wombat is about a group of children and teatchers who go to a pioneer camp for there school camp.The camp was messed up when the BomB (Mr Cromwell)came along. Jonah is a quiet and shy person. The BomB is like a herd of mad bulls. He thinks Know one Knows but everyone Knows he is.I give this book a rating 4 out of 5.

it was a good book

The story don't pat the wombat is set on a school camp at pioneer camp. The two main characters in this story are Jonah & the bomb. the bombs real name brian cromwell & he is the olny teacher in the school the coconuts don't like. The coconuts are five boys who loved camp until the bomb turned up at camp. When the bomb turned up the coconuts knew that the bomb would treat Jonah like a bag of mud. It was the day they had to go canoeing that he had to go into same canoe as the bomb. It was a good book because told a story about two enemies.

It was a great book

Five of the most frustrating days on a school camp you could ever imagine. The frustration all started when the Bomb, the most annoying teacher in the school, had to take over for another teacher. Jonah could tell this was going to be the worst camp ever. Shall it turn out all right between Jonah and the Bomb? Find out. This book has a great storyline and kept my attention throughout. A great book for 10 to 15 year olds.

A different , yet a great read

The story "Don't pat the Wombat," by Elizabeth Honey, was set on a School Camp out in the bush. Jonah and the Bomb are the two main characters. Jonah is a very quiet person that doesn't really fit in. The Bomb is an angry man, and he doesn't like Jonah one bit. Jonah moves from a country town to a big city school, and he doesn't like it much. He is really quiet, until the class goes on a School Camp out in the bush. Jonah seems to feel more at home there. Everything on camp runs smoothly, that is until the Bomb arrives...... I like this story because it has a good setting and storyline.
