dark & sweet

Gorgeously written - an unexpected beginning for 'erotica' took me off guard. Often I forgot it was a genre book, which made the lucious sex scenes all the sexier and, thankfully, not at all contrived. Although its mystery and witchy elements are dark, reflected in the Gothic ambience of Oxford, the overall feeling is of something as pure as truth to self, truth to love. Ultimately, the power of the love story carries you as much as the uncovering of all the mysteries. Very sexy, very gripping. (Oh - and I want to live in that house!)
