There is no new material here, and there is no teaching either. This is basically an exam which tests you to see if you have learned the content of the 8 hour Spanish course (sold separately). What you hear is Michel speaking words or sentences in English, a short pause, and then he speaks it to you again in Spanish. Everything is lifted directly from the 8 hour Spanish course and edited onto 2 CDs; no new recording was done for this. Some of the editing is a bit abrupt, but perfectly fine. If you have not done the 8 hour Spanish course, this may not be of much use to you. This will be useful however, for those who have completed the Spanish course and wish to quickly review the material.

I am a native Spanish teacher, and I find Michel Thomas' materials absolutely dreadful. If you want to learn Spanish with a terrible accent, go ahead and buy any of his things.
