I bought this book on the basis that it was to help me prepare for a single psychometric numeracy test for an experienced hire position with a management consultancy. When it arrived, I immediately read through the preparatory chapters, and sat all of its test within a couple of days of receiving the book. Without exception I found them do-able, and scored upwards of 90% in each one. One slight concern at this stage: I found at least 3 answers which were verifiably incorrect in the book's answers section. However, I went to my interview brimming with confidence (perhaps naively)... The same sort of questions DID come up at the testing session, which used a standard set of questions under timed conditions. However, the book left me hideously underprepared as the questions were universally harder, with far less time per answer and more multiple choice options. I don't know if I got through the pyschometric yet but if I did, it is no thanks to this book. I feel let down by the book, which failed to prepare me for an advanced level numeracy psychometric. It is far too easy to be of any real relevance to professional entry tests in the UK, and set my expectations vastly too low as to what to expect. Beware!
