Really useful book

I got this for final year at med school and was really useful for revising and general medicine attachments for swatting up on pharmacology during ward rounds. Emergencies stuff also v. handy for revision. Has proved invaluable since starting work as a junior doctor.

Great little book. I picked this tiny little thing up recently from a colleague and wished that I had a copy of it when I was a lowly house officer struggling to work out what dose of paracetamol to prescribe!
In all seriousness, this book provides a concise reference which is clinically relevant to the junior doctor with dosing regimes. I particularly like the way it is coded for interactions.
A must buy especially since it is so cheap compared to all those other expensive medical books!

As a medical house officer this excellent little book seems to contain all the information that is really useful to have on you whilst on the wards. The book fits nicely in your pocket and is quick to use and access to the information you want. It helps identify pitfalls and serious mistakes with common drugs - some of which I already knew, but some of which I was not aware of and am now happily able to check! It is great to be able to carry this around as an extra level of security, especially when a BNF is not at hand or doesn't cover the issue such as how to tinker with anticoagulants and insulin. This should be a very useful book for all senior clinical students and junior doctors
