This book was very good, although I was going to put it straight down when I saw the 2nd picture(it looked like something from a bondage shop) I started to read it because it was half way through a French lesson and I'd finished all of my work. I am 14 years old and fluent in french -all of may mates speak very little of the old Francais, so they got me to read it out loud for them all. It was surprisingly up to date for a school text book so well done on the behalf of the author. I have read a few of the others in the reader series (all 3 stages) and this is by far the best of them all). If you are a language tutor or just an interested parent buy this. It is by far the best way to learn more about a culture. The book was critical, analytical and imformative, top class.
