There are better floristry books

I am training to be a florist and was advised to buy this book by the college. In my opinion this book is very expensive for the amount of information it contains there are much more informative books on the market, for example Professional Floristry Techniques by Malcolm Ashwell and Sally Pearson which costs about the same but contains five times the amount of information and clearer diagrams and step by step information. Don't waste your money on Practical Floristry.

Having done floristry for several years on and off i found this book helpful with the little techniques which get put to the back of our memories. I think it would have been better if it had a wider range of projects.

Having a great interest in floristry and having worked in the business for a while, I thought this book was very imformative and easy to read and follow. It would be of great value to those who have an interest in floristry, though not necessarily working in the business, maybe just trying to impress their friends at a diner party or perhaps making a beautiful present for someone. I think it is an excellent refference book to have.
