You WILL need this!

I am using this book to help me with aspects of my Masters course in Education. I found it amongst some of my father's books from his own studies and decided it looked like the kind of thing I needed.

Boy am I glad that I came across it because it has been one of the best books I've opened dealing with research. It is clear and easy to understand and certainly doesn't blind you with science like some guides do! You come away with a clearer idea of what you need to do and how to do it!

Essential ... if you don't want to experience a nervous breakdown trying to make sense of your research project!

If anyone one, like myself, is struggling to know where to start with their dissertation then this book is excellent grounding, talking a person through the maze that is the library shelves to discussions about making the most of a supervisor. Despite not undertaking research in education (my field is Criminology) this book has given an excellent guide to what otherwise is a very daunting experience.

If you are about to start your dissertation this is the essential guide for you. Whether you are studying at degree or masters level, this book will help you all the way. Offering practical advice in an easy to understand manner it breaks the process down into easily manageble chunks. Don't read it at your own peril.

Good tips for beginners from an expert!

I bought this book when I started with my MBA dissertation. I was totally confused by the format of the dissertation since it was totally different to what I am used to in Germany.

Therefore, I needed an easy-to-read book from an expert - and i defenitely found this book!!

I can highly recommended the book to anyone starting with a research for a dissertation either BA or MBA or even practitioners doing a research project on the job.
