Not for the lily-livered or narrow minded

Sex and violence figure fairly largely in this book, but that's the story and there is humour mixed in with it, you find yourself going "Yuck" a few times. I could hardly put the book down; it was an 'edge of the seat' read. There is some romance in it, too, albeit a bit raw. The vivid descriptions made me feel almost that I was watching a film. I logged on to Amazon today to find more Carl Huberman books.

Brilliant - Unless you don't like violence!

In typical Huberman style, he keeps you guessing the whole way through and if you could sit on the edge of a seat and stay there while you read this, you would! I love Huberman's other books and this was no exception.

SORRY I COULDN'T GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS!

This is the worst book I've ever atempted to read. I endured 30 pages of graphic and disgusting violence, hoping that the story would start any moment... Wrong! There's no story. I read "Welcome to the 51st State", the author's other book and - even though it has the occasional violent scene - it also had enough interest to make me look for other titles. But this! When I buy a book that I have no interest in keeping, liking it or not, I give it to friends or libraries. This was the first book ever I couldn't think of giving. In fact, it was the first book in my life that I destroyed, I tore the pages in pieces and put it to recycle. I'm lost for words ...
