Good American Thriller
|

This book was clearly written for the American market: all the characters speak, think, act, like Americans. The odd Britishism (one of the characters is a Hollywood-Brit)& the odd Italian word are thrown in, enough to give American readers a taste of something foreign. The plot too is pure Hollywood. Venice is only an exotic backdrop; & Venetian politics are Tammany Hall in Hollywood-Venetian dress. Very entertaining, though: a good, solid, American cops-and-robbers thriller.

The Best thriller in the world, ever -EVER!!!!

This book is truly unputdownable. I read it just two sessions. The quality of the story has you turning page after page - reading chapter beyond chapter. The story is so good that I didn't even put down to go to the loo.
This book is far, far better than the Da Vinci code - it is so crammed full of historical and mystical knowledge which can be readily validated. It is also very well informed about Italian police and American FBI procedures. The dialogue is very authentic and convincing. All the characters, right down to the coffee shop girls are fully developed and you just wish they were your friends - all except for the killer of course. He is the scariest killer I have ever come across in any book. He even makes Hannibal look like Mother Theresa!
If you want an action packed story which is full of intrigue and plots that are full of unexpected twists then I urge you to buy this book as soon as you can. Believe me, you wont be disappointed. The final, fantastic twist at the very end we blow your mind and leave you satisfied but wanting more of the same.
