A great, quirky read

I loved this book for it's quirky, lovable characters and great writing style. It's one of those books that you smile while reading and feel a slight disappointment when you've reached the end. My first J.Cruise book, but definitely not my last.

This author has the capacity to come up with such original and quirky characters you don't want to put her books down. For Crusie fans it has the usual combo of wacky characters, musical tastes and dogs but in an entirely fresh package. Perfect beach read. You'll have it finished in a day and will want to turn right back to the start to read it again. Brilliant. Loved it. Buy it!

I loved this book! Matilda is the kind of girl i'd love to be and davy is just the kind of guy i'd fall for! i just couldn't put it down... as someone with quite a short attention span i can honestly say this book keeps you riveted!! Really good sequel to Welcome to Temptation, another amazing read...

Matilda Goodnight leads a predictably boring life recreating famous works of art on dining room walls for the rich. She supports her mom, sister and niece and therefore cannot afford to pursue her true passion of painting her own original works. However, Tilda's boring existence is turned upside down when she is forced to steal a painting from the home of a wealthy art collector so as not to expose a long time family secret. This is when she meets Davy Dempsey a professional thief who after one brief meeting in a dark closet is sure to turn Tilda's life upside down in more ways than she ever anticipated.
"FAKING IT" is charming and witty with a cast full of off the wall characters that will keep you wanting to read more.

Brilliant book i couldn't put it down Davys the kind of guy i've always wanted to be.Excellent at poker, brilliant at selling and always been able to read what other people are thinking. great follow up to "Welcome to Temptation" with an even better characters. Worth the read A+++
