I was hoping that this medical and nursing dictionary would provide succinct and clear definitions. I was not disappointed. Every time I come across an obscure term in a medical journal article, I quickly check this dictionary and usually find an entry. More importantly, the entry is invariably well written, informative and clear. There has clearly been intelligent editing of this book, because while some entries are short and to the point, some expand on their subject matter, and the selection of which topics to expand upon is astute. I wouldn't be without my Mosby's.
