This was quite an enjoyable read. I was fascinated by the rise and rise of this basketball prodigy due to all the hype surrounding him. There is no doubt that Lebron James is one hell of a talent after seeing many of his highlight plays on T.V, and on the net. This book details his performances in school for ST Vincent-ST Mary and other events, the frenzied interest from fans and media wanting to see him perform, sport commentators and coaches raving about him being the best thing in the sport of basketball, hummergate, speculation about his future career plans, and the fight for his feet between Adidas and Nike in which the latter won because the former could not offer huge amounts of money in the bidding war with its major rival. Great stuff.

Great book for readers keane to learn about the life of "King James". Starting from his St Vincent college years to being drafted to Cleveland. A very talented player only 21 and already is living the life of a real Nba star! "People ask me how a 21 year old can have a story about him and I just say you put things down in history and this is the start of history" One of LeBron's St Vincent school and team friend. A great read, reccomended for all ages.

The Future of the Game

This book was interesting and really easy to read, It's written by Ben Osbourne who writes for the basketball magazine 'Slam' and its similar reading to the magazine. It covers Lebron James basketball carear so far up until he was drafted by the cavaliers this year. It goes into all the speculation about the free throwback jerseys and his 18th birthday present a brand new H2 Hummer about 50,000 dollars! The part I enjoyed the most was the fight between the shoe companies addidas and nike for Lebron's NBA shoe contract it was interesting how Addidas was down from the start and still lost out and how Nike just piled money into it. Overall a real good book and I was disapointed when it ended but then I remebered the kid is not even 20 yet and I look forward to seeing him play in the NBA. Peace
