Customer Reviews:
Interesting new series!
She's no Faerie Princess is book number 2 in the "others" series which introduces us to Tobias Walker (werewolf) and Fiona (Fae) the two meet under pretty unfortunate circumstances when Fiona is attacked by a stray demon on entry to Manhattan. Walker of course is her knight in a shining fur coat ultimatley saving her from becoming demon fodder. Of course the road doesn't get any easier for the pair when the two are forced together to help to discover firstly how a demon has managed to find it's way from below (Fae term for hell) when no demon has set foot on earth for centuries, and secondly why the gate which Fiona passed through from her homeland in Faerie is now suddenly cut off to her, leaving her stranded on the earth plane. Of course things get a helluva lot more complicated when the body count starts to rise and it starts to becomes apparent that there's another level of evil at play behind the demons sudden appearance. It ultimately falls upon Walker and Fiona, with the help of Walkers fellow brethren to get to the bottom of it.

Overall yes, i did enjoy the story. Though I cant say i was surprise by the outcome on both Walkers and Fionas relationship and the mystery behind the precense of the demons. It's all pretty step by step and fairly obvious in that sense. Also i found myself cringing when during the frequent moments where Fiona and Walker get carnal he suddenly picks up this annoying habit of vocally staking his claim over Fiona with one aggravating word..."mine"
It's okay the first couple of times, but after a while it started to grate on me. It got to the point that i just wanted to yell out "we get the picture buddy!"
Okay i know i'm picking there, yet for me it was just to much like what i'd expect a Neanderthal male to grumble while he's getting busy. Other than that i cant fault the passion between Fiona and Walker and they way they deal with it, both physically, and mentally. Those are the only down sides for me in an otherwise enjoyable story.

So all in all, i recommend this book if your looking for an interesting new dimension in an ever growing genre. There are also some likeable secondary characters that i should expect we will see more of in later books in this series.
hot, hot, hot!
this book was not what i was expecting, in a very good way! it's a little racy but in no way corny or predictable. great! i really enjoyed the way the werewolves weren't the bad guys (it seems they always get a raw deal) and i totally fell in love with every character. i nearly cried when i noticed i had only a few pages left to read and i'd have to say goodbye to them all! i love escaping the real world in my reading and even though this is set in modern new york it really does take you to another world- a world where werewolves and vampires and all things magical can fall in your lap when you least expect it.
