I've only just started to learn Spanish, but this book has been useful from the start. It provides you with the essential vocabulary and also with plenty of opportunity to test your Spanish skills. It is ideal for supplementing your Spanish lessons as it has the answers in the back of the book and therefore can be used in its own right. The role playing format also helps you feel involved with the learning as you are trying out real phrases which you will most likely need to use one day. This helps to make the learning fun. The book is also small enough to pack in your suitcase and take on your travels with you for handy reference.
