I loved this book. The story takes place in a wonderful location, the tropical island of Fala'isi. The hero is an impossibly gorgeous young man, with a wonderful heart. He is the responsible and protective kind who will look after animals and helpless females. Those who don't like ruthlessness in a hero will be well served. Though he is powerful, commanding and confident, Luke is a nice guy. He didn't bully the heroine, from the beginning to the end he was gentle, caring and patient. No wonder she felt for him so quickly. For her part, the heroine can be described with only one word: pure. Pure in heart, she left university to look after her ailing mother, she still feel guilty of the death of a friend when she had nothing to do with it, and she refuses to be lavished with designer clothes ( tough she ends by accepting them for practical reasons). Pure as virgin she is as well, though she is 23 year old (Not that Luke won't take care of it, mind you). After an intense night of lovemaking, she left him because she thought her love was not shared and so managed to disappear. You will like the fact that Luke was so desperate to find his pure and innocent lover he offered a reward to anyone who might help find her. Being pregnant with his child and with her face splashed all over the magazines with the mention "Wanted", she finally gave in and called Luke. From then on, as a typical alpha male, Luke took command. Quick marriage, and please, no separated bedrooms! Being reunited, there was no way the love they shared wouldn't burst out and make each other confess. Happy end. Hum, I just loved it!
