Curious George the Monkey, and his companion the Man in the Big Yellow Hat have been American classics for many years. If you watch the movie "Forrest Gump", you'll notice that the book Forrest carries with him is a dog eared copy of "Curious George", which is the first in the series. "Curious George Takes A Job" is a continuation of the series, all of which are aimed at pre-readers, or those just learning to read. An excellent read aloud book, the antics that George gets up to will seem very natural to young children, who, like George, are very curious. They will enjoy learning about the different jobs George takes in this book, and the different problems he has when he takes them. I have given Curious George books to many friend's young children, and the next visit, the book has always been well loved and well worn. Parents love them, too.
