The Original Story: God, Israel, and the World

This is the most insiteful and well balanced introduction to the Old Testament to this date. It is a student/teacher friendly work on how to read the Old Testament with a good mix of historical, theological, socialogical, and exegetical teachings. It will well prepare a student of any religious and cultural orientation for further study of the Old Testament. I will be using this book in my Old Testament survey course.
