good for the soul

This is truly one of the best books I have ever read. I felt quite emotional at time as the characters are written so beautifully and thoughtfully. I constantly wanted to know what would happen in the future and how their story would pan out it kept me hooked. I liked the idea of time travel although ultimately this is a romance. I think this book can make you look at life with a slightly different perspective and for that I loved it.
Must read!

An Epic Masterpiece

I have never before read anything like this and probably never will again. Niffenegger has created a true masterpiece. The way these characters are developed, their relationships with one another, their time line - the plotting and structure are impeccable ... just sensational. Claire and Henry are characters that will endure in popular fiction, and while it might seem a little OTT to say this, I really feel that this book had a profound impact on me. It is a gem.

Be warned - it's emotional

I wish someone had warned me just how emotional this book is. I finished reading it yesterday in floods of tears. I'm sat at my desk now trying not to cry. I've read a lot (English Degree) but I'm amazed, I truly am, by this book. Read it.

Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveler's Wife is put simply is modern classic, Powerful, exceptional writing which at times is laugh out loud funny, and other times tear promptly Heartbreaking.
anyone who loves to read, should read this book, anyone who hates reading should read this book as well.

Can't stop thinking about this book!

I read this a year or so ago and it is one of those books that I still think about! You know when you are so sad to finish a book and you wish it wouldn't end? That's exactly how this book made me feel.
The plot is increbily touching, well written and stays with you afterwards. The characterisation is also fantastic and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful love story.
